In my opinion, it is ok to use a psychic if you have gotten permission from God and you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The reason why I say this is because you will be able to discern better what is of God and what is not of God. For instance, I am a Christian psychic/prophet. I don’t practice witchcraft, sorcery or mediumship. I pray and worship Jesus Christ on a daily basis. The majority of my clients come from Christian backgrounds, but may or may not be practicing Christianity. I call myself a psychic because I give clairvoyant types of psychic readings. That basically means that I tell a client what I see using my sixth sense. You may be wondering if this is ok to do.

In the Holy Bible, the prophet Samuel was assigned to King Saul. King Saul would often go to Samuel asking him what he sees for his future. He asked about his kingdom and which way he should take things. The prophet Samuel was a visionary. He would tell Saul exactly what he saw. Sometimes he liked what he said and at other times he despised his words. Prophets were known throughout the ages for giving visions into the past, present and future. If you are going to be seeking a prophet for advice then make sure that they are of the same beliefs as you have. Otherwise, you can get extremely confused. Psychics are not all the same and the word psychic is never used in the Holy Bible. The word witch, medium, sorcerer can all be found in the Holy Bible. However, the keyword “psychic” is not. You may say that it means the same thing though. However, it does not. Not all psychics associated themselves with witchcraft, black magic, Satanism, Voo Doo, sorcery or other metaphysical art forms. You also must remember that the Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek.

Also take into account that a prophet would be sought after by Kings and important people. Prophets were known to lead and to examine the lives of leaders and other important people. They were also lead to lead common people. The prophet Agubus in the New Testament was a prophet that warned the apostles of things that would be ahead for them. It’s true that God wants to have a personal relationship with all of us. However, not everyone is going to hear from God the same exact way. We need to share out gifts with one another and to use them for building up of the body of Christ. If you area healer, then you should heal and if you are a prophet, then you should prophesy. If your message is helping people and is guided with love, then you must test the spirit to see if it is of God or not. The only way to do this is by trial and error. If you are debating on whether or not you should be using a psychic today, then you should definitely ask yourself why you are going to be using a psychic in the first place. For what purpose are you consulting a psychic for? Are you seeking a seer for confirmation to what you already may know or are you seeking psychic advice for direction because you feel so lost in your life? Whatever the reason, write it down and ask God if it’s ok for you to consult a psychic to see what they are seeing for you. Sometimes you will get a yes and at other times you will get a know.

No matter what your personal beliefs are, you may find that consulting a psychic is easy because of the psychic hotline and psychic chat readings. Don’t assume that someone is evil because they are a psychic. You have to get to know a person “by their fruits” before you actually go out and judge them. We are living in a day in age where some pastors should not be calling themselves pastors and some healers should not be calling themselves healers. The spirit world is very diverse and you have to be made fully aware of the things that are surrounding you in order to fully understand where God is leading you. Sometimes confirmation from a psychic/prophet can help you to find what you are looking for.

A lot of the Old Testament laws are hard to understand at times. In the Old Testament Books of Leviticus and Exodus, holy laws are given such as: someone who does not honor the Sabbath should be killed and those who disobey God should be punished and even killed for sins committed against God. It’s interesting that people often choose homosexuals and witches to pick on and excuse the Sabbath breakers. It’s important to understand that before you judge a psychic or a prophet, you should first have a clear understanding of the Holy Bible. Almost every belief in the world stems from the Holy Bible or from some other form of written text. If you have never even read the Bible, then you have no right to judge a psychic. You have no authority to do so. If you are listening to people around you that think that they are Bible scholars, then you should ask them if they ever read the Bible in full. I say this because just taking a passage from any book and not having the full understanding of it can lead you to misunderstanding. What parts of the Holy Bible do you understand and what parts of it are you trying to avoid? Learning to understand scripture is your first step in understanding the prophetic and psychic world.

People often confuse Old Testament laws with Christianity. If you read the Books of Leviticus and Exodus, you will see that the laws that Christianity created were far different than the laws that are in the Old Testament books. We all have broken at least one of God’s laws and we cannot live up to God’s standards. When you live for Jesus, you are actually living in his grace. It doesn’t mean that you should go out and break all of God’s laws because you are free by Jesus, but it simply means that you should live by God’s grace and understand that obeying God’s laws to the best of your ability is what he asks of you to do completely. Jesus Christ freed us from the law of sin and death. In Christ, we are free to love and to obey God’s laws and his commandments. Understanding our heavenly father can indeed help us to understand why he puts prophets and psychics into the world to help people.

In conclusion, you must test the prophets and the psychics by asking them things. Ask God to lead you to someone who will give you good advice. Most of all, don’t abuse the psychic hotline. If you are really that lost, then you should be consulting God first. When you abuse the psychic hotline, then it simply means that you are not trying to build your relationship with Jesus Christ. Spending time with God in prayer and worship is the best way to seeking and finding his will. Speaking to psychics once in awhile for some sort of confirmation seems to be an alright thing to do. However, having the psychic hotline consume your life is something that nobody should ever do. If you are seeking psychic advice more than once a week, then you clearly need a deeper prayer and relationship with God the father and God the son. This will help you to find direction in your life once again. Pray and seek God’s will for your life on a daily basis. Get out there and try to make friends with other believers. The closer that you are to God, the more you will be able to understand where He is leading you to go. Remember, psychic addiction is just a clear indication that you really do need a relationship with God. If your life revolves around psychics, then please consult the Lord in prayer and ask him to free you of this. Abusing anything is not good for the spirit. I’m not saying not to use a psychic, but I am saying that you must have some sort of limitation no matter how rich or poor you are. Psychics are not the only ones that you can be abusing. Some people go to counseling to much or spend 5 nights a week in church and forget about their other responsibilities. Some Christians don’t work and that is against scripture. The Bible says, “He who does not work, neither let them eat.” The Bible has many rules and laws. What’s most important is to just honor God as best as you can and ask Jesus to forgive you for all of the things that you fall short of. Daily prayer and worship with God can help you to break free from psychic/prophet addiction. Remember that your most important step is to first build a relationship with Jesus Christ.

New Testament John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that He sent His only son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.”
